The department held its annual writing contest and all entries were
judged by three philosophy faculty looking for the BEST ARGUMENT in
defense of the most INTERESTING ETHICAL VIEW.
The winner of the $750 cash prize is:
Raymond Peters: "Why Nozick’s Experience Machine Fails as an Argument against Ethical Hedonism.”

- One entry per student
- Entries should be a maximum of 1200 words
- Email entries in PDF format to jpust@udel.edu
- DO NOT include identifying information in the PDF file
- Entries will be judged by Philosophy faculty looking for the BEST ARGUMENT in defense of the most INTERESTING ETHICAL VIEW
